What is Bullet Journaling?

What is Bullet Journaling?
For some people out there you might not know what it is or are a little confused from what you have herd. The term Bullet journaling is a type of journal you keep. This journaling method really can be a lot of what you want within the simple guidelines. To me bullet journaling is broken down into two  parts 1. a self made planner and 2. a simple journal or a diary. The bullet journal is meant to help organize your life at the same time be space for what ever you want. In the journal you will have the planner side with your monthly's and weekly's but also your collections (fancy word for fun pages) which is the journal side to it for example: Quote Page, doodle Page or Nails Page. The possibilities  are really endless.

Bullet Journaling and What it is (this is a great link that explains everything)

What is in your Bullet Journal?
  1. a Index - This is where you will write down every page you make so you can keep track of everything and make it easy to access your spreads (this means you might have to number your pages)
  2. Yearly - This is your year calendar where you right down events that you have to remember but are going to be later on in the year.
  3. Key - This is for a the symbols you are going to use on your planner side for example you are going to have symbols for appointments, important things, tasks, if something gets moved or canceled,  things like that.
  4. Monthly - (This is something you are going to do every month) This is where you are going to have a bigger calendar where you can make notes of things that are happening just over the span of that month
  5. Weekly - (This you are going to do for every week) This is where you break down your big  calendar into a week, you put tasks their as well as other notes you want to remember or do in those 7 days
  6.  Habit Trackers / Trackers - This is one of the fun parts of bullet journaling and a main part of it. Lots of people have trackers and there are tons of them for example: basic tracker(things of habit that you want to monitor), water tracker (how much water you intake in a day), mood tracker (seeing how you feel everyday), sleeping tracker (see what times you go to bed and get up) and many more it is really anything you want to monitor.
  7. Collections - This is the journal part of it, you make anything and everything you want this is where you do what you want to make it your own journal you could have things like favorite things you like to cook, your work out schedule, blog information, picture collages. Make it your own and let your mind wonder.
